This gallery features some of my favorite images and most enduring projects from over 40 years of photography and adventures in the wilderness. My humble musings in the journal section will allow you entry to where my foolish mind has also been. All the profits from In Wild Light are transferred to our daughter’s Meredith Williams Foundation that supports a wide variety of projects for the health and happiness of children.

Behind the Project
I went off on a journey to explore all the rims of the Grand Canyon. My passion was to see this earthly wonder from an unlimited number of viewpoints at places and times where few, if any, have seen. I wanted this project to be one of adventure, rugged challenge, and reasonable foolishness.

Primarily, I wanted to meet the Grand Canyon on artistic terms. I wanted to hear as many visual voices as it was willing to share with me and compose images with a unique vision to share with others. After 10 rigorous years, taking over 100 separate adventures to the Grand Canyon, my vision quest is complete. And somehow, by the grace of God, I am still standing. The book has exceeded my expectations and we are excited to share it with everyone.
