DEPARTURES: A step away from color.  On a bleak afternoon, I went into my files and chose a few handfuls of images that I thought might look good int black and white. After a simple conversion, i dug into my past understanding of how to develop a b/w photograph. The results are somewhat pleasing but I could never fully go down this path. I am a slave to the majesty of colors.
